Talk about a breakfast treat...serving Cannoli Stuffed French Toast for breakfast will make your family and/or guests feel like royalty!
Oh my gosh, I have been so into cannoli lately. Eating a cannoli dip or a cannoli favored ice cream has been among my guilty pleasures as of late. Having a French toast stuffed with that cannoli filling, BEST breakfast I have had this week!
I could just plant my face into a plate of this Cannoli Stuffed French Toast.
Each French Toast triangle is full of that sweet cannoli filling with mini chocolate chips. No syrup needed for this delish breakfast!
Stuffed French Toast is easy to make.
You can switch up the "stuffing," but cannoli filled is my new love.

1 cup ricotta cheese
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 eggs

12 slices thin white bread
butter
powdered sugar for dusting, whip cream and extra mini chocolate chips for the topping
Directions:
In a small mix together ricotta, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and mini chocolate chips to make the cannoli filling. Set aside. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add some butter. Dip the entire cannoli stuffed French toast into the egg mixture and then turn over. Place the egg coated cannoli stuffed French toast into melted butter in the skillet. Cook for 2-4 minutes per side. Remove and serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, whip cream and mini chocolate chips.
Now that's what I call breakfast!
