Mint Lemonade Coolers

Yum
School may have started, but summer ain't over yet!
We had a little blast of fall like temperatures yesterday.  I'll be honest, it was kind of a nice break from the heat and humidity.  I think my blood has thickened over the years.  Anyhow, I am sure the heat and humidity will return before we really turn the page on the seasons.  So, check out this cool and refreshing drink perfect for Labor Day weekend or any day you need to beat the heat.

Mint Lemonade Coolers start with a pre-made lemonade and you jazz it up!
Don't tell anyone!
It's just a simple way to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary.

The fresh mint adds such a refreshing flavor!

Hide the carton and your family and guests will even think you squeezed the lemons.
Just add fresh slices of lemon and fresh from the garden mint.

Ingredients:
1 carton lemonade
10 fresh mint leaves
1 lemon, sliced
Directions:
Pour lemonade into a pitcher.  Take 10 mint leaves and roll the leaves between the palms of your hands.  This will slightly crush the mint leaves and release the oil.  Place leaves into the lemonade and let sit in refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.  Add fresh lemon slices.

Celebrate all things summer at least for the next few weeks, right?
Christine
