Continuing on with this summer's burger quest with a tiny, little twist!
Holy moly are these good!
Each little crispy wonton cup holds all the fixin's for a hamburger in bite sized form.
A perfect little appetizer or such a fun dinner.
Burgers don't need to be just on buns. Nope, wonton wrappers are just right.
Ingredients to make 12:
non stick spray
24 wonton wrappers
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 tsp of crazy salt or steak seasoning salt
1 cup shredded cheddar, divided
1 tomato, chopped
1 cup shredded lettuce
dill pickles, quartered
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray muffin cup with nonstick spray. Line each muffin cup with wonton wrappers, overlapping. Bake for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook ground beef and drain. Return ground beef to pot and add salt. Stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Divide up cheesy ground beef mixture into each of the wonton cups. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and return to the oven for 5 additional minutes. Remove from oven and top each with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato and dill pickle pieces. Serve immediately.
You can get each ingredient in a bite! That's a good thing!
