Hawaiian BBQ Pizza

Yum

Easiest way to make a Hawaiian BBQ pizza that is so tropical and tasty!

Great for a weeknight meal or when you have a hunkering for a less traditional pizza.
It's quick and easy too!  Just look at how good it looks!  And, tastes just as good!

Originally from Food Network Magazine June 2014
Ingredients:
1 refrigerated pizza dough tube
fresh or canned pineapple rings
scallions
1/4 lb ham slab
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp pineapple juice
1 tomato diced
1 cup shredded Montery Jack cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1-2 green onions, chopped

Directions:
For Hawaiian BBQ sauce, mix together BBQ sauce, pineapple juice and diced tomato.  Set aside.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grill the ham slab and pineapple rings on an outdoor or indoor grill.  Spread pizza dough on a cookie sheet.  Spread the Hawaiian BBQ sacue over the pizza dough.  Top with both cheeses.  Sprinkle on the grilled pineapple, ham and green onions all over the cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Remove and slice.

This is my new favorite pizza! The ham and pineapple offer that awesome salty sweet combo that is oh so addicting!  Can't wait to put this in my weekly rotation.  I forgot!  The BBQ sauce is too die for!  It has a sweet tang from the pineapple juice...really giving it that Hawaiian taste.  Give this one a try for sure!
