Looking for a cookie recipe for Valentine's Day? One that is easy and quick? I just tried this yummy recipe because it had a muffin mix in it! Go figure?
These cookies are one of those easy "dump" cookies that takes so little time! So little time, yet tastes like a bakery!
Look at it! The berry and white chocolate chips!!! You will love it and it will be great for Valentine's Day...stick some in you kiddos' lunches! Maybe a few in your own lunch?
Here's what you need and what to do...
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 14 oz pkg of berry flavored muffin mix
1/2 cup flour
1 cup white chocolate chips
shortening for greasing cookie sheets
Cream the cream cheese, butter flavored shortening and brown sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla. Blend until well combined. Add the muffin mix and flour. Mix just until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Grease cookie sheets and bake at 325 degrees for about 12-13 minutes.
Cool for 1 minute before removing to a cookie rack to cool.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies
They are so "berry" good and really do taste like they are from a bakery with their cheesecake like flavor.
Place them in a fancy bakery box and who will be the wiser?
Also, the berry makes them perfect for Valentine's Day!
See, I can justify cookie baking everytime!!!
