Flashback Friday - Apple Cider Syrup

Yum
Hi everyone.  It's Flashback Friday on A Sprinkle of This and That!
I was looking through the archives and found a perfect recipe for the season.
Since Saturday is within our reach, I figured a yummy breakfast treat would be just what a Saturday morning calls for.

Heading out to the apple orchard?  You are going to need a special breakfast to put you in the apple picking mood.  Apple Cider Syrup will do the trick!
Maybe there is a morning soccer game.  Your little kicker will have extra power with a breakfast of waffles or pancakes and Apple Cider Syrup.

You are going to want an extra helping just to have more of that Apple Cider Syrup.

Apple Cider Syrup
A Sprinkle of This and That Recipe

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup apple cider
1 cup brown sugar
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium low heat.  Once melted, add the apple cider and brown sugar.  Bring to a boil.
Stir constantly for 2-3 more minutes or until thickened.  Remove from heat and serve.

So easy to make the most delicious home-made syrup!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
