Frozen Malted Milkshake Pies

Yum
How's your freezer looking?
No, I am not setting you up for a joke.  Remember in the old days how we would crank call people. We would ask if their refrigerator was running and then tell them that they better go catch it?  Ha!  The pre-caller ID days....Such funny people we were!  I know, you and I weren't part of the "we" who did that.  We just "heard" about it from others.  Right?  :)
Anyhow, is your freezer empty or is it full of meat and frozen vegetables?
It is summer and there needs to be room in your freezer for these...

Frozen Malted Milkshake Pies!
Little, frozen, creamy, chocolate malt pies that just sit in your freezer waiting to be plucked from the cold and eaten on a warm summer day!  I am thinking the frozen vegetables need to go.  You need space for these treats.

Made with less than 10 ingredients!  Yes, you read right!
Frozen Malted Milkshake Pies sit on a secret crust.
The crust is made of crushed malted milk balls like Whoppers.
Oh my gosh, one bite and it just melts in your mouth.
Use a mini muffin pan to make 18 or use your regular size muffin pan to make 12.

Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
3 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 Tbsp original malted milk powder
2 5 ounce boxes of malted milk balls (Whoppers)
3 Tbsp melted butter
canned whip cream
chocolate syrup
Directions:
Crush all but 12 or 18 (depending on what size muffin pan you choose to use) malted milk balls in a mini chopper.  Mix the crushed malted milk balls with 3 Tbsp melted butter.  Press into muffin pan to create a crust on the bottom of each cup.  Place heavy cream in a free standing mixer.  Whip for 10 minutes.  Add the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder and malted milk powder.  Whip an additional 3-5 minutes until stiff peaks form.  Spoon onto malted milk ball crusts.  Place in freezer for 4 hours.  When ready to use, run a knife along the edge of each frozen treat to pop out.  Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and reserved malted milk balls.

Aren't you glad it's summer?  I know I am!
