Petite Pumpkin Patch Pies

Yum

Petite Pumpkin Patch Pies
You know the Charlie Brown story of The Great Pumpkin, right?
Linus spends all Halloween Night awaiting the great pumpkin to arrive.  He misses out on all the candy from trick or treating.  Such a disappoinment for him.  I love that Charlie Brown story!  So, if you are like Linus, waiting for the Great Pumpkin to arrive...I'm thinking you might want to pop out of the pumpkin patch for some Petite Pumpkin Patch Pies!

These pun'kin cuties are a no bake, throw together, quickie dessert.  They are awesome for book club, bunco, a fall dessert table or you could even leave out the shell and just use the filling as a pumpkin dip with gingersnaps or graham crackers or your fingers.  :)

Ingredients to make 30:
1 8 oz block of cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup pumpkin pie filling
1 tsp cinnamon
3.5 oz sugared walnuts
candy corn for decorating
2 pkgs no cook mini phyllo shells (15 per package)-defrost for 15 minutes before using
whip cream
Directions:
Whip cream cheese.  Add powdered sugar, pumpkin pie filling and cinnamon.  Blend until combined well.
Spoon 1 Tbsp of filling into each phyllo shell.  Top with a squirt of whip cream, sugared walnuts and a candy corn.  Serve.

A little pumpkin treat you can just pop in your mouth!
Don't you just love it when desserts are mini?

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
