Classic Olive Oil Bread Dipper

Yum

Have you ever been to an Italian restaurant and a plate of olive oil is placed in the center of the table alongside a basket of bread?  Maybe it's the restaurant or maybe it's the wine, but sometimes that olive oil is perfection...simple perfection.  So today, I thought I would focus on olive oil as the dipper for bread.  Sounds like a major motion picture opener, doesn't it?  Maybe not, but this could be the star attraction at your next gathering.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp salt

Whisk together all the ingredients and serve with your favorite bread dippers.
All the spices combined with a touch of lemon make this taste just like a restaurant!

Sometimes less is more...
Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
