Five Cheese and Tomato Pizza

Yum
I love discovering knock off recipes from various restaurants.  It is so fun to recreate the same recipe at home...for A LOT LESS!

Love it when you can save money AND make something DELICIOUS!

Doesn't that look good?  The cheese is kind of expensive, but the taste is really good and for sure would be cheaper than going to the restaurant.  And it is more healthy than buying something frozen.  Go for it, because you and I are worth it!

You will need the following ingredients:

Frozen pizza dough (for 4 people, I would use 2 loaves)
cornmeal
olive oil
2 Tbsp shredded Smoked Gouda Cheese (comes in a block, so you will have to shred)
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Fontina cheese (comes in a block, so you will have to shred)
2 Roma tomatoes that have been sliced pretty thin
3 oz of fresh water packed mozzarella (cut those into slices)
1/2 cup of Romano cheese
2 Tbsp of fresh basil

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.  Stretch out your pizza dough into the quantity of individual pizzas you wish to make.  Grease cookie sheets and sprinkle on some cornmeal.  That will give the crust that restaurant style quality...very cool!  Place each pizza on the greased cookie sheets.  Brush each pizza with some olive oil.  Sprinkle each kind of shredded cheese onto the pizzas.  Next place the tomato slices on top.  Spread the slices about 1" apart so that you do not overlap or block-out the surface of your pizza.  Top each tomato with a slice of the fresh water packed mozzarella.  Sprinkle the whole pizza with Romano cheese.
Your pizza is ready to go into the oven.  Only takes about 8-10 minutes.
Top with some fresh basil and it smells like you have your own pizzeria!  Your family with think you got California Pizza Kitchen take out!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet!
