Are you ready for the weekend?
I know I am! It's been a crazy week at work. I just want to snuggle up in front of the fire and binge watch Downton Abbey and Bates Motel. Totally different story lines so it's very easy to keep them apart, especially since one is kind of creepy. I'll let you guess which one. If there is movie watching going on in our house then there will be popcorn. I always pop my own and sometimes it's fun to have a different variety like Sour Cream and Onion Popcorn!
Just like the potato chips. Totally addicting and perfect for watching movies or for THE big football game...you know which big game is coming. :)
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1 packet Ranch powdered buttermilk
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp sea salt
Directions:
Place oil and 1 kernel in a large, heavy duty pot with a lid. Heat over medium high heat. When kernel pops, remove lid, pour in remaining kernels. Return lid. Pop approximately 2-3 minutes or until popping slows. Remove from heat and place popcorn in a large bowl. Sprinkle in Ranch packet, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic salt and sea salt. Toss until popcorn has been seasoned.
Pop some popcorn and pop in a movie! It's a great way to spend a Friday night!
Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
