Apple Chocolate and Peanut Butter Quesadillas

Yum
So yesterday I shared a savory apple dish and today I am going to share another favorite that is a sweet apple dish.  This one is going to make you drool.  I'll wait for a second while you grab a napkin.

Apple Chocolate and Peanut Butter Quesadillas

It was in the 90s just last week and at the flip of a switch, 70s.  Fall has begun up in these parts and apple quesadillas are perfect for bringing in the season.  These quesadillas are filled with Granny Smith apples, chocolate and peanut butter chips and walnuts.  Top it off with some vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce and you have quite a dessert that you whipped up in minutes!

Here's what you need for each quesadilla.
Ingredients:
2 flour tortillas
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp chocolate chips
2 Tbsp peanut butter chips
2 Tbsp walnut chips
4-5 thin slices Granny Smith apples
butter
vanilla ice cream and caramel

Directions:
On one flour tortilla, sprinkle on the brown sugar, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, walnut chips and apple slices.
Place the other tortilla on top.
Heat butter in a fry pan over medium high heat.  Place stuffed tortilla in the melted butter.  Brown for about 3-4 minutes, then flip to the other side.  Brown for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove and slice into quarters.  Top with vanilla ice ceam and caramel sauce.  Repeat process for each apple quesadilla you make.

These apple chocolate and peanut butter quesadillas are packed with melted chocolate and peanut butter!  The sweetness combined with the tart Granny Smith apples along with the crunch of walnuts is pure apple heaven!  I told you there'd be some drooling.

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
