Picnic Snack - Potato Chip Spirals

Yum
Looking for a yummy snack to pack in your picnic basket?
This is the time of the year for picnics!
Time to enjoy the outdoors, relax and swat at the mosquitoes...but I'll try to ignore that part because I am LUVIN' summer!
And, I think that Potato Chip Spirals will be a great addition to your
pic - a - nic basket (I'm quoting Yogi Bear...just go with it.)

Potato Chip Spirals are loaded with potato chips and bacon!

So easy to pack in your picnic basket.

Totally love the flavors!  And it is made with one of my favorite things next to Fritos...puff pastry!

Adapted from Pepperidge Farm®
Ingredients:
1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets)
4 oz of cream cheese
1/2 cup French onion sour cream dip
1 package (2.8 oz) bacon bits
2 cups crushed kettle potato chips

Preheat oven to 375.  On a floured surface, roll out each sheet of puff pastry just to remove the seams.

Beat together cream cheese and French onion sour cream dip.

Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the pastry to within 1/2 inch of the edge.  Sprinkle with the crushed chips and bacon bits.

Starting at the short side, roll up.

Place the pastry into the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator and slice in 1/2 inch to 1 inch slices.

Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
Makes 18

These are so going in my picnic basket.  Add a bottle of wine and an outdoor concert and you are good to go!
What do you put in your basket?

Take time to celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
