This is my favorite banana bread version.
It isn't a lighter version and doesn't have any unique ingredients.
It's just the BEST BANANA BREAD
EVER
BECAUSE it's what my mom used to make!
So, you know it has to be good!
Check out how easy this is to make 1 loaf of banana bread...
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup Crisco shortening
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup crushed ripe bananas (approximately 2 bananas)
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
Cream the sugar and shortening together. Add eggs, bananas and Bisquick.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
Check out the texture on this bread! It is dense, yet light too with just the right amount of banana flavor.
So good for breakfast and or a mid-day snack.
Give it a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Celebrate the little things that make life sweet!
