New Year's Eve Party Mix

Yum
Let the snackin' continue...it's going to be New Year's Eve before you know it.
Appetizers both sweet and salty are probably on your menu.
Let's talk salty...a NYE Snack Mix!

Make this salty snack mix full of textures and serve in a martini glass to make it extra fun.
Looks like confetti and party horns!  Totally ready for NYE.

Just gather the ingredients, mix and bake.  Store in an airtight container until serving time.
Great idea for making ahead so you have more time to party as the calendar comes to a close...or to snack on while in your pajamas watching Rockin' New Year's Eve in New York...probably what my family and I will be doing.  :)

Ingredients:
1 cup multigrain Cheerios
4 cups Bugles
1 cup pretzel twists
1 cup whole wheat sesame rounds or rye rounds
1 cup dry roasted peanuts
3.5 ounces tortilla strips
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
In a small bowl, stir butter, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder and pepper.  Place remaining ingredients in 2 shallow baking dishes.  Preheat oven to 250 degrees.  Pour butter mixture evening across ingredients in both baking dishes.  Stir to coat ingredients.  Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.  Stir every 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and let cool.
Store in an airtight container until ready to use.

How ever you ring in the new year whether in high heels or slippers, make it a fun one!
Whip up at batch of party mix!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
