What's a little bit tart, a wee bit salty and a tad bit sweet?
What is made with 5 ingredients in less than 20 minutes?
The answer?
Cranberry Brie Bites!
This will be one of the easiest appetizers you serve for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Or, just serve these appetizers on a Friday night with a glass of wine in front of the fire.
You will love the tantalizing combo of flavors!
Creamy, warm, melted brie with the tangy, salty flavor from the cranberries make these appetizers quite the hit!
Ingredients to make 15-18:
1/2 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp orange juice
1 wheel of Brie cheese
1 loaf French bread
Directions:
Place cranberries in a small pot over medium heat. Add 1/2 tsp sea salt and orange juice. Heat just until cranberries begin to pop, approximately 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and mash roughly. Slice French bread loaf into 1/2" slices. Place slices of bread onto a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place a slice of Brie cheese onto each piece of bread. Put into the oven for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts. Remove from oven and spoon cranberries on top. Serve immediately.
It's starting to get crazy!!!
No need to worry because now you have a simple, festive appetizer that is super fast!
Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
