German Pancake

Yum

German Apple Pancakes are so easy to make!
Have you ever been out for breakfast and seen someone getting this huge pancake looking thing filled with apples?  Everyone oooohs and aaaahhhs!
You can have that same ooohing and ahhhing experience in your own kitchen!!!

German Apple Pancakes are light and filled with yummy apple filling AND they are surprisingly easy to make.  You can use an oven proof skillet or a round cake pan, either will work just fine.
Here's what you need...

Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 cup milk
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsps butter
1 can of apple pie filling
powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  In a blender, mix together eggs, milk, flour and salt.  Blend until smooth.  Add 3 Tbsps of butter to an oven proof skillet or round cake pan.  Place in the oven.  Once butter has melted, pour in the pancake mixture from the blender.  Bake for about 20 minutes.  Pancake will puff up.
Remove from oven.  Add the apple pie filling and dust with powdered sugar.

What an impressive breakfast!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
