Limone Chicken Drumettes

Football season is here!
High school football kicked off it's first game of the season last night and preseason professional football has been in full swing. So, it's time for wings and drumettes.
What kind of wings and drumettes?
Limone Chicken Drumettes.

Baked in the oven and full of lemon flavor.
These wings are finger licking good!

Ingredients:
20-24 chicken drumettes
salt and pepper for seasoning
1 stick melted butter
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chicken broth
fresh thyme
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Season 20-24 drumettes with salt and pepper.  Place wings in a shallow baking pan and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.  Flip over wings and cook an additional 15 minutes.  Meanwhile, melt butter over low heat.  Once melted, add lemon juice and chicken broth.  Heat until warm.  After cooking wings, dip each wing in the melted butter/lemon juice/chicken broth liquid.  Return drumettes to pan and bake an additional 10 minutes.  Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh thyme.

Tailgating or watching from your couch, the next football game needs some Limone Chicken Drumettes.  6 ingredients makes it easy and fast to prepare just in time for the game!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
