Pun'kin Kahlua

How about a fun October cocktail to have in your back pocket?
No, not literally.  A seasonal cocktail that you can whip up in seconds.  It's creamy and delicious!
It's the PUN'KIN Kahlua!

You can use one of those fancy drink shakers...see, I don't even know what they are called.
I used a tall, cyclinder plastic container (very hip, right?) to create this concotion and it worked just fine.  Granted, not quite as impressive for your guests to see you work with plastic ware, but the tastiness is what is impressive!

Here's what you need...
Ingredients:
1/3 cup half and half
1/4 cup pumpkin pie filling from a can
2 oz of Kahlua
1 oz of milk
ice
cinnamon
holiday sprinkles

Directions:
In a large lidded container, mix together half and half, pumpkin pie filling, Kahlua, milk and about 1-2 cups of ice.  The ice is mainly used to cool down the drink quickly.  Place the lid on the container and shake for 2 minutes.  Strain out the ice and pour the liquid into glasses.  Add a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few holiday sprinkles.  Serve immediately.

Trust me, the taste has just the right amount of pumpkin and is sooo smooth.
Don't you love it when you can have a special cocktail option that goes with the season?

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
