Labor Day Desserts

Labor Day is all about parades, barbecues and bringing summer to an end.
Boo, hissssssss.  I am not boooing and hissing parades and barbecues, but I am a little down on summer coming to an end.  There is always next year, right?  Summer will one day return and I just know that fall is going to be awesome!  So, let's finish out the unofficial end to summer with a bang!
Let's talk Labor Day weekend food.  Today, I am all about Labor Day dessert recipes!

The next three desserts are perfect for a picnic or a potluck.

Snickerdoodle Pie Bites can be popped into your mouth!  Starts with a pre-made phyllo shell that you fill with a delicious snickerdoodle batter.  Just top with whip cream and cinnamon right before serving.  These are easy to make and store the night before.

S'more Brownie Cupcakes will make any potluck or picnic FABULOUS!
All the s'more fixin's in a brownie and topped with chocolate buttercream frosting.
Drool worthy for sure!  These can be made the night before, but beware of midnight snackers!  They could gobble them all up!

These little gems are packed with a cool and creamy marscarpone filling and fresh, homemade blueberry sauce.  Just keep in the refrigerator or cooler until ready to serve.  It's better to make these the day of the event.

Now if it is HOT where you are, you may be thinking ice cream treats.
Click over to get everything and anything ice cream.  I could see Banana Split Brownie Bites in your future!  Cannoli Ice Cream Sandwiches?  Tiramisu Affogato?  Pina Colada Pies?  C'mon...what are you waiting for...hop on over.

Or maybe you are feeling pretty patriotic and want to go with a red, white and blue theme.
Guess what?  I gotcha covered there too!

Red, White and Blue Round Up
Cherry Soda Floats or Rice Krispy Treats with dried blueberries and strawberries plus so much more.

Well, what do you think?  I think you are pretty well covered in the dessert area of Labor Day weekend.  Make one or make a bunch to create a whole dessert table.  Your house will be the place to be this Labor Day weekend!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
