Orange Dreamsicle Pumpkin Cakes

These are the cutest little pumpkin cakes!

So stinkin' cute and so easy to throw together.

Earlier this summer, I purchased a mini bundt cake pan and I have been dying to use it.  I finally decided on just what I wanted to use that pan for...it's first inauguration into the household kitchen for
ORANGE DREAMISCLE PUMPKIN CAKES.

Here's what you need to gather.  You could make these with a cupcake pan, but the mini bundt pan would be cuter.  You can find them at your local arts and crafts store.  They can be purchased for less than $10 with an in-store coupon, so look in your newspaper.

Ingredients to make 24 mini pumpkins:
1 yellow cake mix
1 3oz orange jello box
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
vegetable spray
24 tootsie rolls
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly spray pan with vegetable spray.  Mix together cake mix, orange jello powder, orange juice, vegetable oil and eggs.  Pour into greased pan.  Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.  Let sit in pan for 3-5 minutes.  Then, remove from pan.  Once cooled, stick in unwrapped tootsie rolls for stem of pumpkin.

Orange Dreamsicle Pumpkin Cakes are moist and spongy with a wonderful orange flavor.
Wouldn't they be absolutely adorable on a Halloween dessert table?  I think so!

Celebrate the little things that make life sweet,
Christine
